Inter are considering their January options regarding the future of Milan Skriniar knowing that the Slovakia international will leave the Stadio Meazza at the end of his contract in June.

The Nerazzurri have learned that the former Sampdoria defender won’t extend his current deal, leaving the club as a free agent in June.

PSG are keen on the 27-year-old and are confident of signing him for free at the end of the season. Skriniar had agreed to personal terms with the Ligue 1 giants in the summer, but Inter refused to sell for less than €70m.

Calciomercato.com reports PSG could make a €10m bid in the coming days, hoping to sign Skriniar on the cheap before the end of the January transfer window.

However, Sky Sport Italia maintains that the Nerazzurri are unwilling to sell for such a low fee and would rather keep Skriniar at the club until the end of the season also considering that signing a valuable replacement in just a few days would be a hard task.

According to Gazzetta, Inter would be open to selling for €20m but there are no signs that PSG would offer as much in January.

It remains to be seen how Skriniar would handle the pressure in the final six months of his contract at Inter if he stays at the club. The 27-year-old was sent off in a 1-0 loss against Empoli at the Stadio Meazza on Monday night.
