Inter are reportedly pursuing a deal for Manchester City and England right-back Kyle Walker.

Walker has been at City since 2017, winning back-to-back Premier League titles, but broke coronavirus rules four times during the lockdown.

According to The Sun, Inter are ‘ready to pounce’ for the 30-year-old, who ‘could be tempted’ by the prospect of a fresh start in Italy.

However, the newspaper warns he still retains the faith of his coach Pep Guardiola and only extended his contract last summer.

Walker has played 31 times for City this season, even playing in goal for the final few minutes of their 1-1 draw with Atalanta in the Champions League.

Instead, the Nerazzurri may have a better shot of bringing back Joao Cancelo, who has failed to dislodge his rival since arriving from Juventus a year ago.

As per The Sun, the Portuguese will be available for £60m (€66.3m) this summer.

Inter have signed several players from Premier League clubs in recent months, including Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen.
