Inter will ask Manchester City for midfielder Ilkay Gundogan if they qualify for the Champions League, according to the Corriere dello Sport.
The newspaper names the 27-year-old German international of Turkish descent as the prime target over the summer.
It all depends on the Nerazzurri finishing in the top four, which can only be achieved if they beat Lazio in the final round of the season this Sunday.

This would require a huge investment, but it’s reported the club’s owners – Suning Group – would splash out for Gundogan in order to build Luciano Spalletti’s project.
Manchester City bought Gundogan for €27m only two years ago and this season he has contributed six goals and seven assists in 49 competitive games.
