According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are furious with their midfielder Marcelo Brozovic who asked for severance pay before leaving for Al-Nassr, but his transfer is not completed yet.

Over the last few days, there have been multiple twists, with Brozovic initially rejecting a €20m-a-year offer from Al-Nassr while Inter had shaken hands with the Saudi Club over a €23m deal.

When Al-Nassr raised the offer for Brozovic to €100m to be paid in three years, the bid for Inter was lowered to €15m, including add-ons. On Friday, the offer for the Nerazzurri was slightly raised.

According to Gazzetta on Saturday (page 10), there has been tension between the Croatia international and Inter given that Brozo had demanded severance pay to leave the Nerazzurri as if more than €30m per season were not enough.

Inter need to raise funds by selling some of their stars and Brozovic’s departure would allow the Nerazzurri to get the money they need for Davide Frattesi.

Director Beppe Marotta spoke about Brozovic multiple times on Friday night saying that the player ‘decides’ but must find a solution quickly; otherwise, Inter will take him off the market.

According to Gazzetta, Inter want Brozovic to make up his mind by the end of the day or he will remain at the Stadio Meazza in 2023-24.
