Romelu Lukaku insists people would be ‘shocked’ if they knew his side of what happened over the summer with Chelsea and Inter, but Nerazzurri fans reacted angrily. ‘Come to the Meazza if you have the b***s (which we doubt).’
The striker had spent the best two years of his career with Inter only to leave for Chelsea, a decision he immediately regretted and fought to return on loan last season.
However, when the club was trying to negotiate a permanent transfer from Chelsea, it emerged Lukaku had been in talks with their arch-rivals Juventus and the talks were abandoned.
He eventually returned to Serie A on loan for Roma and declared in a press conference while on international duty that people would be “shocked” if they knew his side of the story.
When Inter host Roma at San Siro on October 29, there is bound to be tension in the stands and the Curva Nord group announced it will hand out 50,000 whistles to make the noise deafening every time Lukaku touches the ball.
The same group’s leader Marco Ferdico released a statement today promising more issues.
“Romelu Lukaku you SHAMEFUL SCUM. We do not care what you have to say, we are not interested in your justifications. We do not even want to hear your voice!!
“Come to the Meazza if you have the b***s (which we doubt). Milano is waiting for you.”
