Inter have lost Emiliano Viviano for six months to an injury, but it doesn’t look as if Julio Cesar will be at the Italian Super Cup either.

Viviano snapped the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during yesterday’s training session and is going to be out of action for most of the season.

His move away from San Siro had been delayed until after August 6, so he could take part in the Italian Super Cup clash with Milan in Beijing.

However, now that Viviano is out of the game, it doesn’t look as if Julio Cesar will be taking his place.

The Brazilian is on vacation after the Copa America and, according to FCInterNews, has not been told to come back earlier than expected.

It means the main goalkeeper representing Inter in the first major tournament of the season will be Luca Castellazzi.
