Inter CEO Beppe Marotta reportedly contacted the agents of Paulo Dybala to understand the margins of a move for the Roma star.

The Nerazzurri were one of the clubs seriously interested in signing the Argentinian forward last summer after his contract expired with Juventus, but he ultimately joined the Giallorossi, signing a three-year contract.

Dybala shined in his debut season in the Italian capital, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists in 38 appearances across all competitions, quickly becoming a fan favourite at the club.

As reported by Corriere della Sera via Calciomercato.com, Marotta called Dybala’s entourage recently to start exploring a possible deal for the Roma star this summer, aware of the release clause in his contract.

The 29-year-old has two release clauses – the first is valid for clubs abroad and is worth €12m, whilst the second is reportedly worth around €20m and also relies on Roma giving the green light.

Marotta wanted to understand the costs of a possible deal and if a move was a realistic possibility this summer.
