Inter have reportedly secured a first option on Verona defender Marash Kumbulla as Napoli focus on getting Sofyan Amrabat over the line.

Napoli appeared to have included Kumbulla in negotiations with Verona, but Gianluca Di Marzio states this is not the case.

That is because, as per the Sky Sport Italia journalist, Inter are now “in pole position”, having negotiated a “preferential channel” to sign him for next season.

If a deal is struck for the Albanian teen, Nerazzurri left-back Federico Dimarco is expected to join Hellas this month.

Dimarco is surplus to requirements at San Siro, seeing just 19 minutes of Serie A action so far in 2019-20.
