Inter directors are expected to meet Dybala’s agent today, making their official move to sign the Argentinean star as a free agent.
La Joya sees his Juventus contract expire at the end of the season and Inter director Beppe Marotta has been in talks with his entourage for a long time.
However, the Nerazzurri are expected to place an official offer today during a meeting with the player’s agent Jorge Antun.
Dybala is one of Inter’s main targets to strengthen their attack in 2022-23 and even though the Nerazzurri are Juventus’ biggest rivals, Dybala is unwilling to leave Italy, where he feels at home. Gazzetta and Tuttosport confirm Dybala’s agent will meet Marotta today.
The two parties will discuss the player’s salary and the contract length. The Serie A giants will likely offer him less money than what he gets a Juventus. Inter will reportedly offer a €5.5-6m deal plus add-ons to reach €7m per season, the same fixed salary he has at Juventus.
Dybala had agreed to sign a new €10m-a-year deal in Turin (including bonuses) but Juventus changed their mind and withdrew their offer at the beginning of 2022 after signing Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina.
According to Tuttosport, Antonio Conte could make a late attempt to bring him to Tottenham, but Spurs’ interest was denied by multiple sources last week.
