Inter director Piero Ausilio confirms Lazar Samardzic has ‘changed’ his requests for the Nerazzurri, while talks with Bologna for Marko Arnautovic are still ongoing.

Arnautovic arrived in Milan on Tuesday to complete a permanent €10m transfer from Bologna, but Ausilio has said Inter are still in talks with the Rossoblu.

“We are still assessing a few things with Bologna,” Ausilio told Sportitalia Tuesday night after meeting the Austrian striker at the Melia Hotel in Milan. Arnautovic is still expected to undergo his medical with the Serie A giants shortly.

On the other hand, the Nerazzurri seem to have dropped Samardzic even if the Udinese midfielder underwent his medical with the club last week.

Several sources reported that his father dismissed agent Rafaela Pimenta and showed up for talks with Inter alongside a new representative, making higher salary requests for Inter.

“You’ve already said everything on Samardzic, the reports were accurate,” said an annoyed Ausilio.

“We had an agreement with Udinese, but, let’s put it this way, there were many changes on the Samardzic front.”

The two clubs had shaken hands over a €15m deal plus Giovanni Fabbian. Both players had undergone their medicals, but the deal seems to have collapsed now, given that Samardzic has resumed training with Udinese.

Inter confirmed the signing of Carlos Augusto from Monza on Tuesday and are preparing to meet the Brianzoli in their Serie A debut at San Siro this coming Saturday.
