Inter have confirmed that midfielder Matias Vecino suffered a thigh injury during their 3-1 win at Cagliari on Saturday.
A statement on Inter’s official website explained “an issue was detected with his biceps femoris muscle” on Monday morning.
Consequently, the Uruguayan is unlikely to face Chievo at the weekend and could also miss the top-of-the-table clash with Juventus on December 9.
However, reports suggest the Nerazzurri are confident of having Vecino back in time for the latter.
