Inter director Beppe Marotta warns Tottenham and Atletico Madrid about Lautaro Martinez: ‘He will extend and he is part of the club’s future.’

The Argentinean striker had been linked with moves to North London and the Wanda Metropolitano in the summer, but the Nerazzurri didn’t want to sell after seeing Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi leave the cub.

Lautaro sees his contract expire in June 2023, but Inter have already reached a formal agreement to extend his stay at the club.

However, there are rumours the Argentinean could leave the club anyway as the Nerazzurri would need to sell more of their stars to balance the books.

The Serie A giants’ director Marotta denied that Inter will sell another one of their stars and confirmed the former Racing star is in the club’s plans for the future.

“We are going to announce his extension within ten days, he is the future of Inter and we want to keep him at the club,” Marotta told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 64-year-old also commented on Lukaku’s move to Chelsea, insisting that he didn’t feel betrayed when the Belgian asked to return to London.
