Reports in Brazil state Inter could take two Flamengo players in exchange for Gabriel Barbosa.

The striker, known as Gabigol, was a flop at San Siro and was sent back to Santos just 18 months after his €33.5m move.

The 22-year-old was top-scorer in the Brazilian Serie A last season, but Santos couldn’t afford to keep him permanently.

Flamengo are keen to bring Gabigol back to his homeland, but even after selling Lucas Paqueta to Milan they’re on a tight budget.

Therefore, UOL Esporte reports, the Nerazzurri could look to exchange the striker for two promising youth players.

The Italian club have been following both Lincoln and Reinier, and Flamengo could use them to lower the price.

So far there have been no negotiations based on that, but it could be the way to unlock the deal.
