With Paulo Dybala, Romelu Lukaku and Henrikh Mkhitaryan arriving, Inter are inevitably going to have to adjust their tactics under Simone Inzaghi to make it work.

The coach took over from Antonio Conte with a Scudetto-winning side and was hired in part because of the similarity in tactical approach with his predecessor.

He continued with the 3-5-2 formation, replacing Lukaku with Edin Dzeko, while Hakan Calhanoglu came in for Christian Eriksen.

The Nerazzurri are bringing in many new signings this summer, including free agents Dybala from Juventus and Mkhitaryan from Roma, while Lukaku can return on loan from Chelsea.

With Robin Gosens also expected to take centre-stage after recovering from injury and following the departure of Ivan Perisic towards Tottenham Hotspur.

According to Tuttosport, this all means Inzaghi is ready to make changes, creating a trequartista role for Dybala to support Lautaro Martinez and Lukaku in a 3-4-1-2 formation.

Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu can also push forward from midfield or track back to defend, allowing Nicolò Barella greater freedom.
