Inter cool Mihajlovic rumour

Inter President Massimo Moratti has put the brakes on a deal for Fiorentina boss Sinisa Mihajlovic. "He's contracted to another club."

The Corriere dello Sport this morning claimed that Mihajlovic, a former Inter player and assistant boss at San Siro, would replace the Paris-bound Leonardo.

However, speaking outside his Milan offices earlier today, Moratti suggested that the 42-year-old is not at the top of their wish list.

"Mihajlovic forms part of another club," the owner noted. "At this moment in time I am not moving for those Coaches who are already under contract."

Moratti's apparent dismissal of the Mihajlovic link seems to add strength to the emerging reports that Marcelo Bielsa hasn't totally ruled himself out of the job.

Whispers coming out of Argentina yesterday claimed that the former Chile boss had rejected the opportunity to take charge at the Meazza.

Yet some sources on Friday are claiming that Bielsa has actually flown to Europe, Paris to be exact, which suggests he may be interested in an offer from Moratti.

However, it's understood that Athletic Bilbao made an approach for Bielsa some time ago and they subsequently can't be ruled out as a possible destination for the 3-3-1-3 Coach.
