Inter consider free transfer move for Juventus star Dybala

With Paulo Dybala’s future at Juventus in doubt, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter director Beppe Marotta is considering signing the Argentinean as a free agent in the summer.

La Joya’s current deal at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June and his future at the club appears in doubt.

Marotta signed him at Juventus from Palermo in a €40m deal in 2015 and is now reportedly considering reuniting with the Argentinean striker at San Siro.

Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana has already undergone his medical with Inter ahead of a free transfer in the summer and Borussia Monchengladbach defender Matthias Ginter who is also available as a free agent is in advanced talks with the Nerazzurri.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are aiming for a third free signing and Dybala is now on their radars, although talks between the two parties have not begun yet.

Inter may not be able to offer Dybala €10m per season, but the Nerazzurri are trying to lower their wage bill so they could put an adequate proposal on the table in a few weeks.

Dybala had reached an agreement to extend his stay at the club, signing a new €10m-a-year contract including add-ons. However, according to multiple reports, Juventus have decided to change the terms of the agreement and will resume talks in February.

La Gazzetta reported earlier this week that Juventus would offer Dybala his current €7.3m-a-year deal, or even less, so Dybala is considering leaving Juventus at the end of his contract in June.

According to Argentinean journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, Dybala is unwilling to sign a contract extension under these new terms.
