Inter have been reconfirmed as the official winners of the 2005-06 Serie A title following the rejection of an appeal from Juventus brought against the FIGC, CONI and the Nerazzurri.

Juventus finished the 2005-06 season with a table-topping 91 points, but were disqualified and subsequently relegated to Serie B for their involvement in the infamous Calciopoli scandal.

As the team in second place at the time, Inter were elected as de-facto champions of the league, despite their 76-point finish.

The decision was the responsibility of the then-commissioner of the Italian FA, Guido Rossi, although Juventus have since been attempting to appeal that ruling.

However, according to ANSA, Juventus’ appeal against the FIGC, CONI and Inter has been rejected, meaning that the Nerazzurri will hold onto their 2005-06 title.
