Inter have confirmed their grid-like away shirt for next season, which has been likened to a tablecloth.
The jersey, which already leaked last week, has been described by Inter as ‘exciting and original take on the club’s traditional style’, taking cues from ‘the Milanese post-modernist movement of the 1980s’ like the zig-zag home kit.

“The alternating black and blue lines make for a really fresh interpretation of the Club’s typical away look and really reinforces their Nerazzurri identity,” added Scott Munson, Vice-President of Nike Football Apparel.
The shirt incorporates large white checks with black-and-blue outlines and a curved V-neck.
However, it has come in for ridicule from even the Nerazzurri’s own fans, while Tuttosport recently called it a ‘tablecloth’.
