Inter are still confident that Benjamin Pavard can complete his transfer in the coming days as they wait for Bayern Munich to find his replacement.

The Nerazzurri agreed to the terms of a deal with the Bundesliga giants last week, agreeing to pay €30m plus €2m in add-ons for the 27-year-old French right back. A key factor is that a transfer cannot be completed until the German side find someone to fill his boots in Bavaria.

Days have passed and nothing has changed yet, leading to some concern amongst Inter fans, but the club themselves are still feeling positive, especially after agreeing personal terms with Pavard.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Thomas Tuchel is continuing to push Bayern for a replacement for Pavard and the Bundesliga side are expected to find a reinforcement in the coming days, allowing the Frenchman to make the switch to Inter.

Should a deal not be completed, Inter could make a move for Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga or Torino’s Perr Schuurs, but neither are considered particularly concrete plans by the club currently.
