Inter close to Schick deal

Despite Sampdoria’s denials, it’s reported they have accepted an offer from Inter for Patrik Schick.

After the Czech striker’s move to Juventus collapsed, the Nerazzurri rekindled their interest in signing him.

After a meeting with the Blucerchiati today, Samp lawyer Antonio Romei denied that Schick had been up for discussion but Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is reporting a deal has been agreed.

The transfer would be on the same terms as the aborted Juve transfer, namely €30m paid over two years.

While there is so far no deal with the 21-year-old’s entourage, it’s expected an agreement can be found.

After Schick has completed a 30-day rest period granted after the cardiac issues which caused him to fail his Juve medical, he will take medicals with the Beneamata.

That may not be quite the formality it usually is, given what transpired with Schick’s move to Turin, but the player is ready to play for Inter.
