Inter CEO Alessandro Antonello insists co-ordinator Walter Sabatini’s departure from Suning was “a personal choice.”

Sabatini was acting as almost a joint sporting director for the two football clubs run by Suning Group, namely Inter and Jiangsu Suning.

“It was a personal choice, but as Inter must stay concentrated on the objectives for season,” Antonello told Mediaset Premium.

“It was a personal choice, but as Inter must stay concentrated on the objectives for season,” Antonello told Mediaset Premium.

“He made a personal choice and I have nothing more to add on the situation.

“It’s a delicate time of the campaign, we all have to stay concentrated. We’ve got Verona and then the Derby with Milan.

“I saw some positives from Inter’s performance against Napoli, which we then built on further with Sampdoria. Hopefully, we can keep that trend going.”
