“We are coming off a difficult period, but we have the quality and the men to emerge from it. We also have staff determined to achieve the objective of a place in the Champions League,” Antonello told Mediaset Premium.

The January transfer window saw Rafinha and Lisandro Lopez arrive, but not Pastore from Paris Saint-Germain.
“Pastore was never an objective. Now is the time to focus on the game and not the transfer market. A victory would give back confidence and allow us to resume our march towards the Champions League.”
Icardi is out injured this evening, but is also at the centre of transfer rumours in Argentina linking him with both Manchester United and Real Madrid.
“Icardi is a fundamental player for us and we hope he can play the second half of the season the way he did the first.
“If the moment comes, we’ll sit down and talk about his future, but the important thing right now is that the team gets back to winning and putting in the performances we saw at the start of the season.
“We are determined, have no fear and must face this journey with the right determination.”
Antonello was asked if there was truth in reports director of sport Piero Ausilio was in Argentina for negotiations with Racing Club striker Lautaro Martinez.
“Our work continues day by day, as we are always looking out for talents around the world.”
