Beppe Marotta confirmed that Inter were not planning any swap deals with Barcelona, silencing rumours involving Marcelo Brozovic, Joaquin Correa, Franck Kessie and Memphis Depay.
Reports from Spain recently have been insistent that the Nerazzurri are considering a number of possible exchange deals with the Blaugrana, including a swap between Brozovic and Kessie as well as an exchange between Correa and Depay.
Inter do have limited resources as they look to pick up some January reinforcements, keen to get involved in the title race this season.
Speaking to Mundo Deportivo reporters in Riyadh, Marotta was asked about the possibility of Inter carrying out some exchange deals with Barcelona.
“There is nothing at all.”
The idea of seeing Kessie in an Inter shirt has been particularly interesting considering his history with rivals Milan, who already saw Hakan Calhanoglu switch Milanese clubs back in July 2021.
Inter and Milan will face off in the Supercoppa Italiana final in Riyadh on Wednesday January 18th.
