Inter goalkeeper Gabriel Brazao has joined the squad for their training camp in Malta, where he’s being closely monitored by coach Simone Inzaghi.

The Nerazzurri signed the Brazilian shot stopper from Parma in July 2019 in a deal worth around €6m, adding a talented youngster to the team. He has been loaned out multiple times over the last few years, spending time with Albacete, Real Oviedo and Cruzeiro before he suffered a cruciate ligament rupture.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Brazao has joined the Inter squad for their training camp in Malta and he’s hoping to impress following an inconsistent few years. The club are keeping a close eye on his progress and are keen to see his development.

The Nerazzurri are preparing to find a replacement for longterm goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and they hope Brazao could be the answer, allowing them to save money on a potential replacement.

Brazao is contracted to Inter until 2024 and has never made a first team appearance for the club.
