The signing of the Italy international has been one of the most protracted market affairs of the summer, with the Nerazzurri constantly pressing the Biancocelesti to lower the €25m price-tag.

President Claudio Lotito stood firm in his resolution however and eventually got his way. According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will be buying Candreva for €21m, plus €4m in bonuses contingent on the team reaching certain objectives. This is a substantial raise from their initial offer, which reached a maximum of €18m all bonuses included.

Candreva will sign a four-year contract at €2.7m per season, and the whole operation will be completed over the weekend to make sure the player can come to Milan by August 4.
