Mediaset Premium claim that Mancini rang former Napoli forward Lavezzi to talk him into pushing for a transfer.
PSG are eager to keep hold of Pocho and he played for 70 minutes in tonight’s 1-0 win over Montpellier.
Now 30, he is in the final year of his contract in Paris.
Lavezzi joined from Napoli for €29m in July 2012.
