Inter buy Acerbi, Man Utd agree Onana fee

Inter have officially purchased Francesco Acerbi from Lazio, while more details are emerging on the Andre Onana deal with Manchester United, close to the original €60m price.

This evening, the Nerazzurri announced they had activated the option to buy Acerbi that was already in the contract when he arrived on loan from Lazio last summer.

That was set at circa €3.5m and it was activated on July 1, but only made official this evening with a statement.

Meanwhile, multiple sources in Italy and England are confident that Inter and Manchester United have agreed basic terms for the transfer of Onana to Old Trafford.

Sky Sport Italia are more specific and state that the deal has been reached for very close to the original €60m asking price.

It is due to be €50m in cash, plus another €5m in various add-ons and bonuses.

The goalkeeper already agreed personal terms with Manchester United and could have his medical next week, before the start of their pre-season training.
