Juraj Kucka will leave Genoa for Inter in January, the Gazzetta dello Sport is insisting on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old was expected to join the Nerazzurri next summer, but it is believed that the Meazza outfit want to bring him in ahead of schedule.

Inter have had a nightmare start to the season given that they have collected just four points from five League games.

It's understood that new Nerazzurri boss Claudio Ranieri wants the arrival of Kucka in order to freshen up his midfield options.

The Slovakian has played in all five of Genoa's Serie A games so far this term, scoring one goal in the process.

He joined the Marassi outfit in January 2010 after a spell with Sparta Prague.
