Inter want to bring a new second-choice goalkeeper to the Stadio Meazza this summer and prepare him to become the regular starter from 2025-26.

Inter inquire about two Serie A goalkeepers as Bento talks stall

Friday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport newspaper on page 17 claims the Brazilian club no longer want to sell their goalkeeper for just €20m, so the Nerazzurri are looking to potential alternatives.

This doesn’t mean they have given up on Bento, but they want to be prepared if the deal collapses.

All Italian sports papers and Sky Sport Italia claim two other candidates for Inter are Udinese’s Maduka Okoye and Genoa’s Josep Martínez.

The Grifone made Martinez’s move from RB Leipzig permanent for €3m this summer and according to reports, their asking price for the Spaniard is close to €20m.
