There are reports in Chile that Antonio Conte wants yet another reunion with Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal at Tottenham Hotspur.

The pair famously worked so well together at Juventus during the initial run of Serie A titles from 2011 until leaving for Bayern Munich in 2015.

After his spells in Germany and with Barcelona, Vidal moved to Inter as a free agent in September 2020 on a specific demand from Conte to club management.

According to La Tercera in Chile, there could be a third coming together between coach and midfielder at Tottenham as well.

His contract at San Siro is due to expire at the end of the current campaign anyway and his salary is considered a weight on their finances.

Vidal wants more playing time, as he has made 16 competitive appearances for the Nerazzurri this season, but only played 504 minutes of football.

Nonetheless, he was able to contribute two goals and three assists between Serie A and the Champions League.

Flamengo have also been linked, but Vidal would prefer to remain in Europe and is intrigued by an experience in the Premier League.
