Ivan Perisic seems set to return to Inter this summer after Bayern Munich reportedly opted against a permanent deal for the winger.

Perisic has spent the season on loan at Bayern, contributing to 15 goals in his 30 appearances and winning the Bundesliga title.

The German giants have a €20m option to buy, but Sky Sport Deutschland and Bild’s Christian Falk claim they are unlikely to take it up.

Italian reports previously suggested Bayern wanted to negotiate a lower price for the 30-year-old, but they would still have to pay him a €10m salary.

In their eyes, that is a steep outlay for someone who is no more than a squad player.
