Inter have agreed to rescind the midfielder’s contract by mutual agreement, giving Nainggolan a €1m severance pay.
However, the 33-year-old wants €500,000 more, so talks between the two parties are ongoing.
According to the report, Nahitan Nandez could move the opposite way as Inter remain interested in securing the services of the Uruguay international.
Leeds were in talks to sign the 25-year-old, but they are now reported to have cooled their interest, with Inter monitoring the situation.
