Inter President Massimo Moratti has rejected speculation that he could axe Claudio Ranieri before the end of the season.

Reports today intimated that the Nerazzurri were considering a change on the bench following last night’s 2-0 loss at Juventus” data-scaytid=”6″>Juventus.

However, Moratti has today backed the former Roma and Juventus Coach – at least until the conclusion of the campaign.

“I think that Ranieri will stay with us until June,” the President stated on Monday afternoon.

“Last night’s game was a big blow. It was undeserved for our first half display, but you need to score and we didn’t. Therefore it is normal that you can lose.”

There were suggestions that Ranieri could be replaced this week by the duo of Beppe Baresi and Luis Figo.

Another possibility was the promotion of youth team boss Andrea Stramaccioni following his side’s NextGen success over the weekend.

“I’m not a tactician, but I think that there are three or four youth team players who are ready for the first team,” Moratti continued.
