According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are annoyed with Milan‘s complaints about referees and have decided to use a different approach with the media.

Last week’s Derby della Madonnina ended in controversy with Milan complaining about a goal disallowed in the second half for offside. As La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights, the Rossoneri have often been critical towards referees this season, while Inter have adopted a different approach with the media.

Inter: Inzaghi defends referees after Derby controversy

According to the report, Inter are annoyed with Milan’s protests and are trying to use a softer method, especially during pre and post-match interviews. Simone Inzaghi defended match officials last week and Beppe Marotta has never publicly complained about the officiating.

Pioli also complained about games not being played simultaneously and Inzaghi hit back at the Rossoneri boss, saying that the situation has been known for a long time and that TVs ‘must be respected.’

Only two points divide Milan and Inter in the Serie A table, but the Nerazzurri can climb to the top on Wednesday if they win their game in hand against Bologna.

  1. Why are they angry exactly? I thought when you got nothing, you got nothing to loose. This their anger and supposed approach says it all.

  2. Milan only got themselves to blame for not being able to beat mid-table teams and maintain 1st position by comfortable advantage while Inter were fighting in the Champions League.

It was everything in their hands but failed. Just focus on playing well and getting the results instead of all this complaining!

  3. Inerista, I didnt knew that u dont learn english in Italy. Call means referee decision bro. U Can also try google translate

  4. Inter are mad because it seems Milan are targeting Inter matches but not their own. They can cry as much as they want in their own matches but they should leave Inter matches alone. Inter are not winning by 1 goal to make the claim that the refs helps them validat but rather a few incidents that mostly won’t change the final outcome. A good example is the Torino match that VAR chosen not to interfere since it was not a clear and obvious error. In that match Inter didn’t even win. It seems Milan have a short memory and don’t remember for calls going their way. In every remaining matches Milan knows they would need the ref favours to even stand a chance but on the other hand Inter can win one match at a time and win the league while Milan will cry of all the ‘what if’ or ‘it could’ve been this or that’. The best team will win the league and lucky goals won’t it has never been so simple.

  5. SoloInter, Funny and the last 9 years juve wasnt the best side or did they also still get helo

and before i forget, the torino pnealty was obvious, even in england and germnany, they were laughing about italian refrees

  6. Sammy but who was the best then if it wasn’t Juve. Inter were just poor in that time and maybe Napoli had the squad to actually win but could never do it and WILL NEVER because of their president. Now there’s no debate as to whose is the best both in terms of quality players and performances. England refs are not better as well but do you see Man city or Liverpool constantly complaining about refs.

  7. Milan has nothing to offer, that’s why they are complaining about referee. You scored a goal against inter in milan derby that should have been a free kick on sanchez but nobody is crying about referee. Inter ia a threat to your ambition.

  8. Not that this has any truth in it but I would agree with Inter if they were annoyed. I’m sick of the complaints too but the vast majority of them come from the fans, not the team.

  9. Well, reading this news with some previous news together makes me laugh:

Inter boss Inzaghi banned for insulting referee.

Inter boss Inzaghi on Juventus draw: “The referee was two metres away.”

Torino vs Inter referee being suspended

  10. @Solointer: are you joking? That is exactly what Inter has done during te past years. Now, when they get all the favours, they decide to condemn that kind of behaviour? Typically Inter …

  11. Will we ever go a day without Milan fans talking about the Spezia game? When a controversial decision goes against Milan, no one ever hears the end of it but when Milan benefits, it’s like it never happened or Milan fans say the referee’s decision was fair and the rest of us are clueless. What’s worse is Milan have directly benefited against Inter when Giroud’s barged into Sanchez, almost knocking off his head, to win the ball leading to his first goal. The decision by the ref not to give a foul cost probably cost Inter points. Also I can name games against Roma and Venezia that were influenced by poor refereeing decisions in Milan’s favour but I’ll bet Milan fans will claim the referees were right in these instances. Rather than look to referees to help you win games, maybe look to your players to score more goals from the numerous chances they create.

  12. @Romaz I would have to agree with you but the difference was Inter were nowhere near Juve so they can put pressure on Juve to win the league at the time. Actually even when Inter won the league with Conte the match against Juve saw them being given a penalty after a clear Cuadrado dive which led them to secure CL so Inter will always complain against Juve because of the obvious calls that goes against Inter. In my opinion for Inter complains against Juve it’s mostly when they play each other and it will always remain to be that way. The difference is Milan are crying about every single call for matches that don’t even involve them and always make claims that Inter are favoured that’s why they WILL be top and win the league. Also it’s not just fans but Milan senior staff like Pioli keep going on and on about refs making fans to believe if it wasn’t for refs then they would be 10+ points clear. Inter haven’t been on top of the league for a long time yet Milan are actually scared to death that they can’t see themselves as WORTHY enough of winning the league so they choose to cry for every call. It’s really sad actually Lol

  13. Milan literally just won against Lazio after Tonali blatantly pushed Acerbi to the ground. Their ref complaints are funny. A club that received 700 pks last season. Literally every week Kessie scored a pk.

  14. Kalulu was offside. May be Milan should be given a refereeing awareness course because it seems they do not know the rules of the sport they play

  15. I just wish all the Inter fans telling Milan fans to stop complaining about referees would take their own advice. Here’s the deal — we won’t talk about the blatant calls in Inter’s favour this year, but in return you are never allowed to complain about a certain call from 1998 or about a second yellow for Pjanic. Deal?

  16. @Inter, enjoy your Coppa Italia win (if you win it) as it will be the only kind of cup you will be winning for the foreseeable future.

  17. My only comment would be, is there anything of real substance in this article?

Honestly why write these meandering attempts at click bait ? What’s next ? The algorithm may suggest an article with Conte , Donnarumma, Milan , Inter or Juve in the headline.

Lol … I guess it works if 28 comments is a measure or engagement ?

  18. Inter are trying to use a softer method, especially during pre and post-match interviews. Simone Inzaghi defended match officials last week and Beppe Marotta has never publicly complained about the officiating.“

LMAO is all I can say. Complain about what? Points being gifted to them or stolen from their direct rival? 😂

  19. Let’s all remember the brawl and how calm they were after they lost to Lazio when they wanted Lazio to score an own goal because they didn’t put the ball out for Di Marco’s dive … when actually they were the ones to continue the play 😆

  20. Or how calm they were after they lost the Milan derby. Someone should bring up Inzaghi’s post match interview. The referee was all he talked about.
