Inter and Sassuolo have made an important change to the terms of their deal for Andrea Pinamonti, which will not give the Nerazzurri a buy-back option, but does set a release clause.

The original plan was to sell the striker to Sassuolo as the heir to Giacomo Raspadori, who is heading towards Napoli, with an option to bring him back to Inter in future for a set fee.

However, Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà insists there has been a significant shift during negotiations.

It will now be a sale for €20m plus €1m in bonuses, but rather than a specific buy-back clause for Inter, it is now a general release clause set at a minimum of €30m.

The 23-year-old is a product of the Inter youth academy and went out on several loan spells at Frosinone, Genoa and most recently Empoli.

He has scored 24 goals with seven assists in 106 Serie A appearances.
