Torino have put defender Armando Izzo on the market for January, with Roma and Inter believed to be the favourites for his signature.

The 28-year-old centre-back is not fitting into new Toro coach Marco Giampaolo’s tactical vision, while he has also struggled with some injury concerns.

He made only one appearance for the Granata this season, a 1-0 opening day defeat to Fiorentina on September 19.

According to Tuttosport and Calciomercato.com, the most likely options for a January transfer are Roma and Inter, as Izzo really found his best form in a back three.

Torino want €20-25m for the Italy international, and could let him go on loan with an obligation to buy at the end of the season.

It’s reported they will use that money to bring in a creative midfielder.

There is the possibility of a low-cost move for all concerned if Inter were to offer Matias Vecino in exchange for Izzo.
