Benjamin Pavard was again not part of the Bayern Munich training session today, but the player and Inter continue to wait for the all-clear.

The defender has agreed personal terms with the Nerazzurri and the two clubs shook hands on a deal worth €30m, but with the proviso that Bayern Munich had to find a replacement first.

It is proving extremely difficult and time is ticking on, with Inter and Pavard increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress.

According to reports in Germany, Pavard has not been in training for three of the last four days and was again absent today, as he considers his time at the club effectively over.

Their main target seems to be Trevoh Chalobah, but Chelsea only want to sell on a permanent basis compared to Bayern Munich’s loan with option to buy offer.

It has been reported that Inter will not wait beyond Monday or Tuesday before turning to other options, such as Torino’s Perr Schuurs or Japhet Tanganga at Tottenham Hotspur.
