Inter and Milan, alongside a few other clubs, have been handed a fine by the Serie A sporting judge for fan behaviour in the recent round of matches.
Sporting judge Dr. Gerardo Mastrandrea decided to fine the Rossoneri €5000 after fans threw bottles of water at opposing supporters during the Derby della Madonnina. Inter were fined €4000 after water bottles and an article of clothing were thrown onto the pitch by their fans.
Fiorentina were handed a €5000 fine because their fans repeatedly aimed insulting chants at Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini. A €2000 fine was handed to Juventus after their supporters made an insulting chant about Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri in the 36th minute of their clash.
Finally, Torino were given a €2000 fine for having ‘unjustifiably’ delayed the start of their match against Salernitana by around two minutes.
One-match suspensions for Federico Baschirotto, Luca Caldirola and Mateusz Wieteska were all confirmed.
