Inter and Manchester City edge towards tonight’s Champions League Final with different approaches as the Nerazzurri have been training on the pitch while Pep Guardiola’s men remained at their hotel.
Simone Inzaghi’s men trained for one last time before tonight’s Final in Istanbul. As reported by Sky Sport Italia’s correspondent in Turkey, Gianluigi Bagnulo, the Nerazzurri are working on the pitch at Galatasaray’s training ground while their opponents have remained at their hotel.
According to the report, Man City players are doing soft training in the gym and getting massages trying to get in the right mood ahead of tonight’s final.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola explained his team’s approach in an interview with Sky Sport Italia earlier this week.
“Right now, it’s not about athletic preparation. It’s about getting there with the right mentality. We must go ahead with tranquillity and leave everything on the pitch.”
This will be Inter’s sixth Champions League Final, but the first one since 2009-10 when they won the treble under José Mourinho. Manchester City have played one UCL Final in history, losing to Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea in 2021.
