Sportitalia claim Antonio Conte wants a reunion with Lautaro Martinez and Tottenham Hotspur will offer €90m, but Inter and the striker have no intention of accepting.

According to transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Spurs are planning to make a proposal for the Argentina international that is worth a massive €90m.

There is a release clause in the centre-forward’s contract worth €105m and he had been heavily linked with Barcelona and Arsenal in the past.

However, Lautaro Martinez and his agent have stated multiple times there is no wish to leave Inter, especially not after signing a new contract in October 2021 that runs until June 2026.

Pedullà reports on Thursday evening that even if Tottenham do make the €90m offer and use the presence of Conte to convince him, Lautaro Martinez wants to remain at Inter at all costs.

Inter too are not prepared to sell their star striker, even with the arrival of Paulo Dybala as a free agent and Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.

Lautaro Martinez scored 25 goals in 49 competitive matches for Inter this season.

  1. One of the warming news I have read in recent months. 😛 I want and I wish Lautaro and La Joya play together, at least one season.

  2. There is zero chance Levy will offer €90m for Lautaro Martinez, when he had a €60m bid accepted for him last year! Complete and utter fake news. Great player by the way and we’d love him at Spurs, but at that price it’s not going to happen.

  3. Tottenham have got absolutely no interest in Martinez. Why would Spurs pay 90 million euros for a player that is only good enough to sit on the bench. I think maybe Italian journalists should stop making stories up and concentrate on reporting on real stuff.

  4. Dybala and Lautaro on the same team would be such a great help for Argentina for the upcoming WC.

On paper, this trio would be fearsome. And considering Inter is already one of the best attacking team in the league last season, one would wonder what kind of further havoc would they brought about. I for one am glad if Inter could strengthen and not losing any more players.

Would be sweeter to retain the scudetto next season when Inter, Juve, Lazio, Roma, Fiorentina all getting stronger 😉 (Writing off Atalanta and Napoli at this stage since they seem to be dismantling their team more than rebuilding lol)

  5. There is no release clause in his new contract!
@Jason Lomakin dont worry, you dont get Lautaro! Why should he go to Tottenham, when he plays for Inter? Lautaro will play next for the Scudetto and may be for the CL…

  6. Why would Lautaro go to a small club like Tottenham? They never win anything and there is no prize cabinet at that club!

  7. Count dybala out. Juve had same situation with Ronlado. We loved to see the power together but it can never happen. Dybala is a ball hugger who will rarely get other players to shine.
As for the article, it’s only a first step for INTER fans to let them know that Martinez is sellable. The news will roll more now for more sales.
