Milan have condemned anti-Semitic chants made by Inter supporters ahead of the derby, while Juventus fans are accused of doing the same to Fiorentina.
It was a super Saturday in Serie A with top class fixtures and very entertaining matches, particularly the Derby della Madonnina.
However, they were overshadowed once again by the uncivilised behaviour of some who attend games in the stadiums.
There was already controversy last week when two Fiorentina fans were banned for two years after one tried to slap Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti and another 76-year-old threw a plastic bottle at him.
Today Milan have released a statement on social media, a video of Inter ultras in the Curva Nord ahead of the derby singing “The Champions of Italy are Jews.”
Juventus fans have also been caught on camera during the 1-1 draw with Fiorentina as they made similarly anti-Semitic chants.
“The Viola are not Italian, but a bunch of Jews, Viola is the colour I hate, the colour I hate the most, let’s sterilize their women, so no more will be born.”
Some Fiorentina supporters didn’t cover themselves in glory either, with the usual Heysel chants and a man with his son who were asked to remove their Liverpool jerseys and scarves.
