Preziosi had said on Tuesday that Perotti was categorically not for sale and would ‘stay with Genoa 100 per cent.’
Perotti was believed to be the number one alternative to Wolfsburg winger Ivan Perisic, but delays in a deal for the Croatian have resulted in the Argentine’s deal going ahead.
