Inter have added another friendly that will see them face Serie A rivals Sassuolo on December 29, along with Betis and Reggina.

The Nerazzurri are determined to keep their fitness levels up and perform tactical experiments during the break for the 2022 World Cup.

Coach Simone Inzaghi had already organised a test trip to away to Spanish side Real Betis on December 17, then at the Stadio Granillo in Reggio Calabria against Serie B club Reggina on December 22.

They have now confirmed that Inter will play Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium on Thursday December 29, kicking off at 16.00 GMT.

Serie A football returns on January 4 after the break for the World Cup in Qatar, with Inter immediately thrown into a huge Scudetto showdown with current leaders Napoli.
