The youngster’s form this season in playing under Zeman at Pescara has seen him earn a call-up to Ciro Ferrara’s recent squads. The Napoli-born attacking midfielder was involved in the Azzurrini meet-up this week and was on the scoresheet in the team’s 3-0 friendly win over Serie D side Ischia.

“I owe so much to Zeman,” enthused the player after the game. “He has helped me grow so much and thanks to him I have broken into the Italian Under-21 set-up.”
