The young Italian striker is the star of the Partenopei at the moment alongside teammate Gonzalo Higuain, and with two goals and one assist he was instrumental in demolishing Milan 4-0.
“Insigne is fantastic when he plays next to Higuain, a Neapolitan with an Argentinian,” De Laurentiis told Italian show Tiki Taka.

“Insigne is fantastic when he plays next to Higuain, a Neapolitan with an Argentinian,” De Laurentiis told Italian show Tiki Taka.
“We needed a representative of the Neapolitan world, and he is perfect. He has a beautiful family and he found the instinct for the goal, now that [Coach Maurizio] Sarri placed him in a 4-3-3 that suits him better.”
The cinema giant was then asked whether Napoli was competing for the Scudetto.
“I'm very superstitious, but that's not the problem. The supporter can say anything, the President has to keep his feet on the ground.
“There are many dangers and many opponents. There can be injuries, suspensions, there are many variables in football.”
De Laurentiis also discussed his projects for the middle-term future.
“In the next few months I'll be engaged in the stadium project.
“I'm looking for the region's help to find 20 hectars of land. My investments would allow for a great youth camp with ten fields and one hotel, which would be accessible by the circumvesuvian highway for any lad from Napoli to Sorrento.”
