A statement from Juventus confirmed a muscular issue to the back of the right thigh, but "tests ruled out lesions. His condition will be monitored over the next few days."
That means it is not a thigh strain, but the initial impressions are that he might be out of the Coppa Italia clash.
That is expected to be on June 12 at the Allianz Juventus Stadium, after the first leg ended 1-1 at San Siro in February.
The Coppa Italia Final is set for Rome’s Stadio Olimpico on June 17.
