Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic is starting to grow concerned that he’ll be forced to miss the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

The 22-year-old Serbian striker was forced to miss the Bianconeri’s last three matches against Paris Saint-Germain, Lecce and Inter due to a groin injury. There were hopes that Vlahovic would be fit to face the Nerazzurri yesterday but those were dashed after disappointing results in Saturday’s training session.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Vlahovic is still struggling with the frustrating groin injury but he’s hoping to return in Juventus’ clash with Lazio later this week. The club are monitoring his condition on a daily basis, keen to avoid exacerbating the injury.

Vlahovic is also starting to grow anxious regarding the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, worried that he’ll not be at top condition for the tournament. The 22-year-old also suffered from a similar groin injury back in June of this year, forcing him to miss four games with Serbia.
