FC Porto will face Inter next week in the Champions League Round of 16, but coach Sergio Conceicao is dealing with a growing injury list.

The first leg is at San Siro on Wednesday February 22, while the return is in Portugal on Tuesday March 14.

According to the latest reports from Portugal, Mateus Uribe and Galeno have joined the absentee list with muscular issues and are certainly out of this Saturday’s league game against Rio Ave.

It remains to be seen how long the two midfielders will be out of action for.

Others already on the treatment table include centre-back Fabio Cardoso, left-back Wendell, right-sided midfielder Otavio, left-sided winger Gabriel Veron, striker Evanilson and youth team goalkeeper Francisco Meixedo.

FC Porto topped their Champions League group ahead of Club Brugge, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid after two opening defeats and then four victories in a row.

Inter were the runners-up to Bayern Munich, pushing Barcelona into third place.
