Adrien Rabiot picked up a knock during the first half of Juventus-Frosinone so he was replaced with Carlos Alcaraz after just 28 minutes, but Bianconeri players infuriated Massimiliano Allegri before the substitution.

The French midfielder was accidentally hit by his teammate Gleison Bremer in the first half and had been limping on the pitch before being subbed off early in the first half at the Allianz Stadium.

The incident infuriated Massimiliano Allegri who, according to DAZN, wanted his players to put the ball out of play to make the substitution.

Instead, they kept the ball and lost possession, leading to Frosinone’s second goal, scored by Marco Brescianini.

Dusan Vlahovic netted twice for the Bianconeri in the first half, but Frosinone replied to the first goal through Walid Cheddira and even took the lead for a few minutes thanks to Brescianini.

Rabiot was subbed off immediately after Frosinone’s second goal. Southampton loanee Alcaraz was introduced from the bench, making his third Serie A appearance this term.

Rabiot will undergo further medical tests in the next few hours.
