According to Sky Sport Italia, Romelu Lukaku will miss the upcoming Serie A game against Cremonese and is in doubt for the Milan derby next weekend due to a thigh injury.

The Belgium international has scored one goal in three games since returning to Inter on loan from Chelsea.

However, he has already been forced to the sidelines as, according to Sky Sport Italia correspondent Andrea Barzaghi, he was diagnosed with a thigh injury during today’s training session at Appiano Gentile.

According to the report, Lukaku will undergo medical examinations in the coming hours, but he is expected to miss Tuesday’s Serie A clash against Cremonese at San Siro.

He is in doubt for Saturday’s derby della Madonnina against Milan.

Lukaku scored 64 goals in 95 appearances during his first spell with the Nerazzurri under Antonio Conte.

Inter have collected six points in the opening three Serie A games, losing the last match 3-1 away at Lazio.

According to Gazzetta, Lukaku will surely miss the derby and is in doubt for the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on September 7.

  1. If this is the case I hope Correa replaces him in starting 11, we’re paying for releasing Sanchez

  2. Who is Andrea Barzaghi? It clearly is Matteo who reported that. You’re making a mess with the names/facts. In another article you’re calling Kalulu an ex Chelsea player. Common!
